| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Whitecroft Lawn - Spring 1991197 viewsWe hired Corscadden Associates, a firm of landscape architects in Wales, to improve the undulations in our lawn, and to make our pond more visible from the house. They did a detailed specification, obtained bids, and recommended the low bidder. Unfortunately, the low bidder's plan was to simply scrape away all of our topsoil and plant turf on the clay. The turf all drowned, and we had another firm do the replacement --- paid for by Corscadden's professional indemnity insurance. This is the original work, with the front of Whitecroft (and well) on the left.

Bull Terriers - with only one cushion1614 viewsThis is what happens when we only bought one Cozies cushion (testing it out first) and have two bull terriers. Needless to say we had to rush out and order a second --- www.cozies.net. The cushions are great: made of Dupont Cordura, so quite strong.

Woodman's Cottage - Compacted Gravel373 viewsThe excavation of about 4 inches of soil completed. The gravel has been spread and compacted, so it's almost as solid as the road. Photographed on the morning of September 19 2006. Nigel Roberts, from Albion Landscapes standing proudly with his shovel.

New Bank Street - Claines, Worcester484 viewsThe house numbers go up on the left (starting from 1), and come back down on the right (ending at 55). It's possible that 57 stood in an area that's now an entrace to a row of terraced houses.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
