| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Marjorie in Cambridge179 viewsAs we waited for Kiko to have his MRI at the Animal Health Trust in near-by Newmarket, Marjorie and I went into Cambridge for lunch and a bit of a wander around (as much as I could do with my cane -- which isn't much).

The Observer - 13 July 2008297 views"TV firm attacked over 'walkout' by Queen in more reality show trouble." A one-sided article by David Smith of The Observer about the reaction of the Grassos to the housekeeper episode of "Personal Services Required." In my opinion, Mr. Smith wanted to write an article critical of the RDF editing. He interviewed me for his piece, and when I said that Marjorie and I felt we'd been treated fairly in the programme, no mention was made of us. Isn't this also "unfair representation?"

Picanha Steaks on the Grill880 viewsIt's important not to pierce or cut them when they're cooking --- that will keep in the majority of the jucies. The fat in grain-fed beef (and ours is certainly grain-fed) melts at a lower temperature than the fat in grass-fed beef. One food critic described Kobe beef as "self-basting." These steaks were delicious!

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
