Death of the Caravan713 zobrazeníWe purchased the caravan in 2005 when folks wouldn't rent accommadation to our Polish colleagues. Our miserable neighbors immediately complained to the District Council. The enforcement officer intially said the caravan was fine, and then the Council changed its mind. Rather than take the caravan back down our narrow track, we decided to give it a proper funeral.

Holiday Inn Garden Court - Helsinki Airport, Finland413 zobrazeníBecause our inbound flight was late, we missed our connection to St. Petersburg in Warsaw. This meant a side-trip to Helsinki, and we still arrived in St. Petersburg a day late. This hotel, at the airport, was clean but basic. Nobody to help with our luggage, so Marjorie had to put it on a chair we "borrowed" from the business centre. She pushed the luggage to our tiny room on the chair.
