| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Il Tempo Del Postino205 viewsWhat if an exhibition was not about occupying space but about occupying time? Can contemporary art be interpreted outside of a traditional gallery environment? A group of the world's leading visual artists defy all accepted notions of the "exhibition" in an experimental time-based show, held not in an art gallery but at Manchester's Opera House. The title of the piece relates to "postman time" --- the exhibiton is delivered to the audience rather than the audience walking through it in their own time.

The Top of our Leylandii Hedge -- Ready for the Bonfire329 viewsPaul Doyle and team trimmed the top off one of our leylandii hedges, bringing much more light into our front garden. Coincidentally, we've been asked to build a large bonfire for a photo shoot. Here's the "cuttings" waiting to be moved from our track to the site of the bonfire.

Feedin' Time...!245 viewsMom had been in the stable yard for an hour or so --- a bit of a break, and so she could have a nice warm bath. But babies (from her litter, and another litter) were happy to see her back again. And she obliged by lying down right there in the dirt! Only some of these piglets are hers, but she's not bothered.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4086 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
