| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

A Tamworth Pig In His Hoggles759 viewsJuly 19 2006 was the hottest July day in U.K. history. We were contacted by Caters News several days ahead of time. They wanted a photograph that would illustrate "hot," and they suggested pigs in Doggles --- renamed by them to Hoggles. This is one of their photos, distributed by them to the press. news@catersnews.com

Kiko in the Garden203 viewsMay 1, 2007 -- Kiko's 12th Birthday. He'd had surgery about a month earlier to remove part of his lung: biopsies, x-rays, and CAT scans had been inconclusive. Unfortunately he had lung cancer. He was fine up until his birthday. He wanted to spend most of the day outside -- fortunately it was warm and sunny. He came in at 7:00 PM, and then died, with Marjorie and me with him, at 11:00 PM. On the couch, his favourite place.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4086 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
