The good news is that the water in our small fountain passes through a filtration system, in theory so fish could live in the pond. For some reason, we didn't think fish were a great idea --- so no fish.

We went to Crufts today, and there smiling from Emily Burrowes booth was a large painting of a bull terrier. It looked familiar --- very familiar. Marjorie took a photo of it. Whitecroft -- The Outdoor Pool240 viewsWe haven't been in the outdoor pool since I can remember: my guess is circa 1995 or so. We had the liner changed about three or four years ago, so the water was changed then, but the liner installation was terrible and we never "opened" the pool. It's so gross now that we're at least cleaning it out. Lots of power washing and diluting with fresh, clean water.
