| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Craig By The Park Sheraton Hotel - Thanksgiving 19661904 viewsI had a term paper to write --- I was a freshman at Renesselaer --- so I borrowed a typewriter in the hotel's office. They used it for typing telegrams (remember telegrams?) so all of the lower-case letters had been filed off. I had to type my paper ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Note the Horn and Hardart automat on the corner in the background.

A Caribineri (Policeman) in Cesana Pariol600 viewsThe cashier at a restaurant near our hotel observed, "We thought we'd be invaded by tourists. Instead, we were invaded by the police." Most caribineri were glum and unfriendly. This gentleman, however, was different. He even helped me to my seat, and carried my camera.

The Truckman on the Transporter269 viewsThe back end of the Truckman after someone collided with it on Crookbarrow Road. We had to abandon it during the rainstorm, and had all sorts of problems getting MMA to recover it. Someone apparently rear-ended the Truckman. Photographed on the transporter at Lucies Farm, as the Truckman heads down the driveway and into the sunset.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
