| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Getting ready to star239 viewsITV were looking to replace the X-Factor series 2006 with an doggie-style X-Factor programme. They wanted to film a piece at Lucies Farm to show to the producers. Irene very kindly agreed to act as a customer coming to pick up her doggies.

The Canal Path715 viewsA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

Speed Camera Partnership469 viewsI saw these folks from the Speed Camera Partnership blowing up balloons (hmmm). As their cameras threaten to take our photograph at unwanted times, I thought I'd take their photograph. They didn't appear to be speeding, but I just need to check the calibration of my camera.

Birchfields 2222 viewsThe slightly darker stretch of land, extending from the bridle way on the left to the hedge on the right. The small red arrow points to the Worcester Cathedral in the distance. The lighter area in the foreground (with a few sheep) is Birchfields 1 1/2, owned by others.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
