Casey was running towards me, and I don't remember this evil glare. That's the funny thing about photography: it sometimes picks up things you don't see. Nana and Baba sold their Kealaolu Avenue house circa 1947, and felt they had enough money to move into a hotel for the rest of their lives. And that's what they did: they moved into the Niumalu Hotel, on the site of the present Hilton Hawaiian Village. That lasted about a year.
