Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living.

Marmadukes Luxury Hotel - York255 viewsFor our one night in York, we paid 180 (on a Monday night, in November) to stay at Marmadukes Luxury Hotel. We thought it was awful. Here's a photo of the only TV in the room, with a screen smaller than my laptop. And you had to sit in this low, stiff Victorian chair to watch TV. It was truly awful.

The Old and the New1425 viewsThe Tamworth pigs are about to be moved to a nice grassy field in the four acre field. This will give us a chance to renew and replant their field. This photo shows the contrast: the green field in the back has recently been re-planted with a pig resistant turf from Hurrells.

Whitecroft Track -- Looking South184 viewsSummer afternoon, Aug 3 2006. Our white gate on the left. We own this gravel track. Our neighbours told the Council our tractor was blocking the track (our track). I took this photo to show this to be untrue.

A Father And Son Moment348 viewsMy father, John Walsh, buying me a comic book. Somewhere on our trip to the East Coast, April 1960. Ever the cinematographer, I have a movie camera around my neck. And my father looks like a Blues Brother.

Betty's in York169 viewsThis was like a clean Swiss cafe in Zurich, except for the fact that it was in York. It seemed to have a steady queue. We had a great lunch there, and bought some delicious cookies and pastry. (That's our car parked in front. I guess we could have driven inside.)

Blaisdell Center - 1999475 viewsDavid Reed selling poi bagels at the Blaisdell Center, 1999. Note that we didn't have the yellow labels yet: these must have been "early bagels."

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
