| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Photographs of Screws from Top Hinges358 viewsThese screws were removed from the top hinges: they connect the hinge to the large gate posts. The screw on the left is from the southern gate post, and measures 1 3/8 inch. The screw on the right is from the northern gate post, and measures 3 1/2 inches. I showed this photograph to Marjorie thinking she'd be surprised. She said that the screws on the right (northern) gate all started to pop out, so Nigel replaced them on the day he came to pick up his cheque.

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991197 viewsThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.

Cars Parked at Lord's Wood Cottage374 viewsThe old (apparently Victorian) chicken coop is shown by the red arrow on the right. Our deeds to the Lord's Wood track show that the boundary line runs next to this chicken coop. The fence line is considerably to the east of this wall.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
