Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living.

Alpacas, Chickens, and Pigs529 viewsA bit of summer sunshine at Lucies Farm. The three male alpacas are always together, and don't seem all that bothered by the presence of pigs and chickens. I love when the pigs lie down for a rest, and the chickens peck at (I suppose) tiny insects in the pigs' ears.2 comments

At least this dog doesn't bark188 viewsA "sculpture" of a bull terrier made from chicken wire that's then been painted white. At one time we had this down in the flower beds (instead of standing on our well), but it scared our dogs and our doggie guests. They didn't like a dog lurking in the bushes -- particularly one that looks like white chicken wire.

Ben and Jed Building the Bonfire at Lord's Wood227 viewsThe mission was to build a bonfire whose flames would leap up the top. This became known as the "Wall of Fire Project." We used leylandii cuttings, both from the front garden at Whitecroft and from other tree surgeons working in the area. Ben and Jed are unloading the last bit of cuttings from the trailer.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
