| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

Burj al Arab Hotel414 viewsThe right side of the hotel --- bathed in purple light --- is made from Kevlar, and is designed to look like a sail. The whole hotel is on a man-made island just offshore in the Arabian Sea. The colours on the side of the hotel change every few minutes.

Whitecroft Decking238 viewsThird time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.

The Clevedon Hotel, Torquay100 viewsMarjorie reading the newspaper on the bed in the Clevedon Hotel in Torquay. The staff were super-friendly but the mattress was just on bare boards (like floor boards) and the room never got warm.

Marjorie Walking Kiko in Broadway882 viewsI like this photo. I was about to discard it because Kiko's head is hidden, but then I noticed how Tapa's photo on the handbag really replaces Kiko's head. Gave me a good laugh. Photographed outside the Lygon Arms in Broadway, in the Cotswolds, in July 2005.

Wild Boar and their Pig Arcs217 viewsThe pig arcs sit on compacted hard core at the top of the field. There's about three feet of compacted hard core, and it drains well --- giving the wild boar dry bedding and a way to be on dry land (i.e. not clay).

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
