| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Karcher Vacuum Cleaner Repair379 viewsWe paid almost 80 and waited two months to have our Karcher vacuum cleaner repaired by Express Cleaning Supplies near Malvern. The very first time we tried to use it, the pipe (their repairs?) fell apart in our hands. We called, and they didn't return our calls. So much for pride in your work.

Petra, Jordan -- Sand For Sale312 viewsWhen I was playing around with this photo using Photoshop, I enlarged the lower left-hand corner where two gentlemen seem to be doing something. I had a good laugh when I could read the hand-lettered sign in the corner: "Petra Sand For Sale."

Marmadukes Luxury Hotel and the Four Poster Bed230 viewsFor some reason the management or decorator at Marmadukes Luxury Hotel thought the four poster bed (designed, apparently, by the guy who designed the beds in the Harry Potter movies) was the most important thing in the room. It filled the room. In fact, one of the four posts actually went up and into the antique chandelier. You couldn't use the single bedside lamp: it was behind a non-retractable curtain. Marjorie trying to read in the dark, in this hotel-from-Hell.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
