Me Taking A Photo of My Puffy Pants265 viewsI'd put on my Northern Face down-insulated pants and my foot cast and it was all quite funny. I tried to take a photo of the stylish combination using a mirror in our hotel room. I think the look on Marjorie's face is funny -- sort of quiet resignation.

Whitecroft Lawn - Spring 1991197 viewsWe hired Corscadden Associates, a firm of landscape architects in Wales, to improve the undulations in our lawn, and to make our pond more visible from the house. They did a detailed specification, obtained bids, and recommended the low bidder. Unfortunately, the low bidder's plan was to simply scrape away all of our topsoil and plant turf on the clay. The turf all drowned, and we had another firm do the replacement --- paid for by Corscadden's professional indemnity insurance. This is the original work, with the front of Whitecroft (and well) on the left.
