| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Olympic Mascots - Neve and Gliz634 views"She is a soft, friendly and elegant snowball. He is a lively and playful ice cube. The shapes of their bodies and the sounds of their names, Neve and Gliz remind us of the two vital elements for practising winter sports: snow and ice." Tapa and the Daisy Sprinkler3567 viewsWe bought this silly yellow daisy sprinkler at the BBC Garden Show --- for Tapa. We knew he'd chase the water all over the place. And he did, for hours. When we shut it off, he'd stand at look at the limp daisy, waiting for it to do something. So we'd have to turn it on again.

In Bed at 140 Dowsett Avenue1420 viewsMe (on the left), Shauna (the baby), and Nana. My guess is late 1955. This isn't the best photograph -- no faces showing. I've included it anyway because I thought the bedside table is interesting. I love the old dial telephone, the 1950's shoji lamps. But my favourite thing is the bottle of lager and cigarettes. I never remember my grandmother drinking --- but larger! How images can be shattered through the magnification power of Adobe Photoshop.

Elvis Looking Quite Pleased With Himself414 viewsIt was a warm, sunny English summer day. After his walk, Barbara and Vic had Elvis out on the lawn to play ball, or see if he wanted to play with the sprinkler/hose. But Elvis really wanted to play-wrestle with Vic.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
