| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Vic Scott & Andy Baddeley Massaging Aberdeen Angus Steer493 viewsIt is thought that the regular massaging helps to marble the fat, and tenderise the beef. It also relaxes the steer.

Craig By The Park Sheraton Hotel - Thanksgiving 19661904 viewsI had a term paper to write --- I was a freshman at Renesselaer --- so I borrowed a typewriter in the hotel's office. They used it for typing telegrams (remember telegrams?) so all of the lower-case letters had been filed off. I had to type my paper ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Note the Horn and Hardart automat on the corner in the background.

The Mine in Dartmouth294 viewsThere is a big red mine on the sea front in Dartmouth with a coin slot. The brass plaque says that all funds go to The Shipwrecked Fisherman & Mariners Royal Benevolent Society, but the mine seemed full. As the mine is about a meter in diameter --- if it's full of coins it must be holding a treasure trove.

Ross' lady!!620 viewsThe artificial "cow" sent to us from Matthew Barney's studio in New York. Unfortunately, the production in Paris was cancelled, so we never had the experience of trying to encourage Ross to be amorous with this plastic cow. We are awaiting orders for its removal or destruction.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
