| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Colletts Green Road409 viewsThe undersized sewers are again not up to the task. The water bubbles up, and then flows from the sewers into the highway run-off system. So sewage is escaping and going down into the River Severn. We have complained about this for 15 or more years, but nobody does anything about it. We installed our own mini sewage treatment plant so we weren't dependent upon the main sewers.

Am I sober??!223 viewsUWIST graduation, Cardiff, July 1985
Andrew at my house where we had a party to celebrate achieving our degrees (we both got a 2:1). Ian let me know recently that Andrew appears to have died while on a mountain hiking holiday. Such a shame: only 44 with a young family

Our Seats in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden1655 viewsThe 2008 BAFTA Film Awards. Our seats were in the last row of the highest balcony. We could barely see the stage. As I walk, slowly, with a stick I was worried that I was miles from the nearest lift (or even exit) should there be any sort of a problem.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4073 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
