| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Where The Gates Close270 viewsThe gate on the right in this photograph (northern gate) has particularly deformed. Within days it was impossible for us to close the gates. Albion refused to repair this. Our handyman used an electric sander to sand the interior edges of both gates. The northern gate drags on the ground.

Marjorie and The Dogs182 viewsAs the Labradors and Ridgebacks are easy going, Marjorie and I thought a big 90-minute ball playing session would give them all some good exercise. Marjorie had to go back to get more balls -- in this photograph she's just returned with the new balls. The dogs look interested!

Front Hedge at Whitecroft284 viewsThere's a hole in the road near our hedge, and in the winter it fills with salt water. That splashes on the hedge, and has killed the lower branches. We've installed a small gate her to give us access to the pond area and uppermost part of the garden.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4086 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
