| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Philco Model 20 Radio178 viewsWe purchased this in New York City, but then moved it back to England. As it's made to work on U.S. electricity, not much joy of picking up the BBC on this 1930's radio. But we had fun taking this photograph.

Tamworth Pig and "Sinister" Pig2542 viewsThe red Tamworth stands behind what we call a "sinister" pig. The "sinister" is a cross between an iron age pig (itself a cross between a wild boar and a Tamworth pig) and a Gloucester Old Spot pig.

Chase and my Teddy Bear519 viewsI think this is a great picture of Chase, and it's the last known photo of my teddy. The teddy was purchased at the gift shop in Kapiolani Maternity Hospital the day I was born. It had a red felt tounge and wooden eyes. It went with me to university (my mother hid it in my suitcase). When Marjorie and I moved to the U.K. in 1986, Chase asked if she could keep it. And then my ex-wife, the Rev. Marcia, made Chase give it away. Lost teddies. Stinky ex-wives.

Cao Dai Temple, Viet Nam386 views"Indigenous to Vietnam Cao Dai is a fusion of the best from Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, with Christianity and Islam thrown in for good measure. Cao Daoism was founded in Vietnam only as recently as the 1920's as the answer to the ultimate ideal religion and insists that its' earth-based intermediaries or messengers include such luminaries as William Shakespeare, Joan of Arc and Napoleon Bonaparte."

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
