| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

The Tamworth Pigs Showing Off568 viewsWe moved the wild pigs into the next paddock -- to help us churn it up before planting grass in the spring. The Tamworth males ran up and down the fence, with the wild boar on the other side. The chickens and alpacas weren't impressed by this show of piggy macho.

And he doesn't envy those people with Blackberries.................226 viewsHe can't stay away from a computer for 5 minutes!! Actually, I'm any excuse for a cup of coffee and since Craig is unable to walk long distances in one go we stopped at this Internet Cafe in the Hermitage so I could have coffee and he could make sure that we weren't missing anything.

Elvis -- Wanna Play?228 viewsElvis went home today. We're always happy to see our doggie guests reunited with their families, but we'll miss Elvis' exuberance. Everything made Elvis happy. Even when waiting for his family to come and get him, he managed to chase (but not catch) a moorhen --- right into the muddy stream. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Front of Woodman's Cottage313 viewsWe have now removed the bush that sat on our property, and plan to move the fences back to the property line later this week. This will give us the space so that departing vehicles can see safely in both directions on the Bransford Road.

Tiny On Evening Patrol303 viewsThe days are starting to lengthen and we're now getting a bit of sun. Our lemon trees (on the right in the photograph) look a bit sad after their winter indoors. Tiny doesn't seem to notice.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4084 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
