| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Marjorie Standing By A Pile of Cut Trees541 viewsWe are proceeding with our Woodland Grant Scheme for Lord's Wood. Here are a small portion of the logs cut down in the woodland, awaiting pick-up by the sawmill. Apparenty the logs are used to make the corrugation inside a piece of cardboard. Marjorie looks small next to the pile of logs.

The Cider Mill - 21 Colletts Green Road162 viewsA photograph of the eastern wall of The Cider Mill. This photograph was taken to show the proximity of our property to the house itself: we own the gravel driveway, so there is very little land (essentially only a narrow path) in front of The Cider Mill.

Marjorie and Cathy - Heathrow355 viewsCathy leaving to return to Australia after her two-week visit. Her Singapore Airlines flight delayed by two hours. We went to Sbarro as it was all that was open. I wanted spaghetti with meatballs, but they only had the meatballs. So I had meat lasagna, and the kind Sbarro man cut a meatball in quarters and hid it under my lasagna. The girls had vegetable lasagna which they ate in full, despite the absence of a smuggled meatball.

In The Garden -- Dowsett Avenue3224 viewsI'm playing with cut flowers. I'd guess this is late 1949 or early 1950, taken in the garden at 140 Dowsett Avenue. The great expanse of lawn and garden that ultimately became (sadly) 156 Dowsett Avenue.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
