| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Poi Happens Baseball Cap545 viewsThe caps were great, but they were difficult to sell. Most people (including me) think that a baseball cap is really a gimme cap --- as in "gimme, for free."

Ian Crouch Encouraging Ross330 viewsThe cow dummy was about four to six inches too high, but Ross made no effort to mount it, or even Carole --- who was presumably the correct height.

Max Thinking About The Pool689 viewsYou know when you put a straw in a glass of water it looks like the straw bends? That's because water acts a bit like a magnifying glass and enlarges things. This is a shot of Max and Marjorie at the top of the ramp, with the ramp (looking very large) underwater.

Lord's Wood Entrance to Bransford Road360 viewsOur car is parked on the triangle of land that's part of the Lord's Wood title deed, and provides access to the Colletts Green to Bransford Road. The plan is to pave or gravel (with compacted gravel) this area in the next few weeks. When we commence woodland operations, the sawmill needs (I'm told) to be able to pick up the cut trees from next to the road, so this will become the staging area for that.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4085 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
