| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

Interior of Martley Parish Church290 viewsOrgan on the left, and 14th century trompe l’oeil painting on right. This painting "was common enough in later periods, especially in Renaissance Italy, but it is very unusual to find it in an ordinary parish church of this period. This was made by a very highly-skilled painter indeed. [...] The 'Stoning and Roses' pattern of unusual delicacy, with a stemmed flower in each illusionistic brick."

Max Thinking About The Pool689 viewsYou know when you put a straw in a glass of water it looks like the straw bends? That's because water acts a bit like a magnifying glass and enlarges things. This is a shot of Max and Marjorie at the top of the ramp, with the ramp (looking very large) underwater.

A Berkshire Pig15945 viewsWe once raised Gloucester Old Spot pigs -- until everyone started doing it. I could never understand why the GOS pig had been bred so that its ears covered its eyes. With the Berkshire pig, the ears stand up and the pig is quite majestic.

Lord's Wood Cottage and the Track223 viewsWe put some hard core on our very waterlogged track, running on the eastern side o Lord's Wood Cottage. Note how the lean-to garage has been reduced as a result of the move of the boundary to its correct location. Lord's Wood Cottage, owned by Thomas Hawkins, seems to be abandoned. This view is looking south down the track from the entrance to Lord's Wood.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
