A Young, White Turkey1012 viewsAlthough all of our turkeys are Bronze Turkeys, we occasionally get some that are white. There's a strange recessive gene hiding in the gene pool somewhere. This turkey was hatched and raised at Lucies Farm, from an egg laid at our farm. Really "home reared."

Gate to the Stable Yard134 viewsThis five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.
