| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Down With The Old, In With The New357 viewsAfter a year of litigation (commenced against us by Thomas Hawkins) we have fully prevailed. The Court-appointed expert found that the fence by Woodman's Cottage was not along the boundary line, and encroached on our property. This is important, because it has to do with "visual splays" onto the road. On September 15 2006 our contractors arrived to remove the part of the fence that encroached, and to put up our new fence along the boundary line.

Burj al Arab Hotel2202 viewsThe Burj al Arab Hotel -- Tower of the Arabs -- rises above the Madinat Jumeirah. We spent our first night in Dubai at the Burj al Arab, and then spent three nights in a villa suite in Dar Al Masyaf, part of the Madinat Jumeirah. (I found this part confusing, too.)

Ross Going Down the Ramp369 viewsBeing attached, by Grzegorz, to the cables that will prevent him from running anywhere, falling into the orchestra pit, etc. In the end, the cables weren't necessary -- but it was nice to know that they were there.

Casey159 viewsMy, what big teeth you have. This is a photo taken with what Marjorie can I call the "big nose" lens. It might just be me, but "big nose" photographs always make me smile. Casey, on the other hand, just wanted the doggie treat held above the lens. (And she got it.)

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4083 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
