| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Lord's Wood Sewage Problem470 viewsUnfortunately, Lord's Wood Cottage (not under our ownership) is draining unprocessed sewage into Lord's Wood. This may have been the accepted practice in the past, but it crates a foul smell and health hazard just inside the woodland. We are working with the Malvern Hills District Council to remedy this.

Electronic Innards of Stable Gate244 viewsI asked Gregorz to please remove the cover to the stable gate equipment this afternoon, and this is what we found. I believe this is the radio-control equipment, as well as a step-down transformer for the gate motor. It's been mounted about eight inches above the ground, but is always covered by a thick black cover. Gregorz had to remove a few screws to reveal the "innards."

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
