| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

In The Garden -- Dowsett Avenue3224 viewsI'm playing with cut flowers. I'd guess this is late 1949 or early 1950, taken in the garden at 140 Dowsett Avenue. The great expanse of lawn and garden that ultimately became (sadly) 156 Dowsett Avenue.

Ben and Jed Building the Bonfire at Lord's Wood227 viewsThe mission was to build a bonfire whose flames would leap up the top. This became known as the "Wall of Fire Project." We used leylandii cuttings, both from the front garden at Whitecroft and from other tree surgeons working in the area. Ben and Jed are unloading the last bit of cuttings from the trailer.

"Rockin' Rick" Kelly and Marjorie at The Poi Company Booth449 viewsRick Kelly and a glum looking Marjorie at the Natural Products Show in Anaheim, California. The table is laden with all sorts of poi goodies. We'd purchased green gels for the lights at one of the Hollywood lighting companies, so the Poi logo banner was really glowing.

Woody Looking Sad197 viewsDogs can be so tricky! A moment before this photograph was taken, Woody was bouncing all over the place, happy as Larry. But when the camera came out, he put on the soulful eyes.

Side of Lord's Wood Cottage With New Addition329 viewsThis photograph, taken looking south down the Lord's Wood access road, showing the new addition on the eastern side of Lord's Wood Cottage. I believe that the fence encroaches on our property, and the new addition is right up to the fence line.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4088 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
