The Stairway, M1 Southbound at Trowell168 viewsThis is the stairway to climb to the bridge over the motorway. The signs indicate there's a Marks and Spencer at the M1 southbound, but it's actually on the other side of the motorway. You need to climb these stairs (no lift) to get to the bridge, and then repeat the process on the other side of the motorway. Very misleading in my opinion. But not in the opinion of Moto.

Marmadukes Luxury Hotel and the Four Poster Bed172 viewsFor some reason the management or decorator at Marmadukes Luxury Hotel thought the four poster bed (designed, apparently, by the guy who designed the beds in the Harry Potter movies) was the most important thing in the room. It filled the room. In fact, one of the four posts actually went up and into the antique chandelier. You couldn't use the single bedside lamp: it was behind a non-retractable curtain.
