| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Your Dog Magazine - July 2007356 views"Groom Service" With its comfy cubbyholdes, underfloor heating (and air conditioning in summer, of course), indoor and outdoor pools, webcam facility and range of souvenier merchandise for guests to take home, there's no denying Lucies Farm is pretty swanky. . . .

More Track Photographs242 viewsSeptember 23 2006. Our guys cleared out the brambles on our side of the fence, and it's now clear that the old fence (in the centre of the hedge at the left) then does a right-hand turn (the two posts in the middle of this photograph), and turns right again. The fence on the right was installed sometime after May 13 2004, when the materials were purchased by Hawkins' men. The fence in the middle was put up, we think between June 2002 and May 2004.

Marjorie and night vision goggles5201 viewsWe purchased these Russian-made night vision goggles at a Photokina show in 1996 or so. They were impossible to wear and to use. With all the publicity surrounding night vision during Gulf War II, we decided it was time to eBay them. Poor Marjorie got to be the night vision goggle model.

New Whitecroft Lawn and Daffodils177 viewsThe lawn had been newly rolled out. Only the contractor had removed all of our topsoil and essentially put the turf on clay. Once it started to rain, the lawn drowned -- and had to be replaced.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4064 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
