Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

The Duck Pond - July 2007174 viewsHey, this is supposed to be summer. The worst rains I've seen in 20+ years here. Our duck pond turned dark brown, but fortunately the stream that carries the water away was able to handle the increased volume.

Australian (and American) Flags Fly Over Lucies Farm178 viewsBen's family just sent him an Australian flag, so up it went on one of the three flag poles by the dog resort. The American flag was already there. The British flag that we had deteriorated in the British weather. That's a pig weather vane in the foreground.

WMF Gondolier Centrepiece271 viewsI am told it's quite unusual to have the original glass bowl with this piece. The bowl is quite delicate, and a strange shape --- and it has lasted (with just a few chips on the edges) for over 100 years. And at least two trips across the Atlantic. We purchased this piece in Buenos Aires.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
