| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

At least this dog doesn't bark154 viewsA "sculpture" of a bull terrier made from chicken wire that's then been painted white. At one time we had this down in the flower beds (instead of standing on our well), but it scared our dogs and our doggie guests. They didn't like a dog lurking in the bushes -- particularly one that looks like white chicken wire.

Rannoch's Bubble Bath265 viewsGQ Style did an article on "the best," and wanted to feature Kobe beef as the best beef. They sent up a photographer from London, Annabel Elston, to take pictures of me doing silly things to Lord Rannoch --- like giving him a bubble bath.

Humphrey B. Bear - Crime Scene Photograph486 viewsIn addition to horrific injuries to his head (pending the autopsy results, it is thought that the facial injuries were the ones that caused Bear's death), there were also substantial injuries to Bear's left paw. In fact, his left paw was entirely chewed off by canine teeth. The tissue from Bear's paw was spread over a 10 sq. ft. area in what we believe was a horrific attack. We are waiting for further details from forensics.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4014 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
