Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake.

"Spooky" Alice177 viewsWe were trying to get Alice to join her calf for the trip to Wales. She's cunning, and would do everything possible to avoid being caught. In the end, after two days, our patience paid off --- the lure of her calf and food was just too great, and Marjorie snuck in and closed the gate behind her.

Wild Boar in the Mud From Recent Heavy Rains282 viewsDespite the presence of elaborate land drains (installed by us when we purchased this property) it still gets very muddy when we have heavy rains. We are installing hard core on the upper portion of the field so the wild pigs will have a dry area.

Walking Down Our Track139 viewsTaken from our track (and public footpath 578) looking south towards Colletts Green Road. Our home is on the left, behind the wooden fence (east). Jack and Margaret's home is on the right (west). We have recently spread a new load of gravel on the track, thanks to the folks at Central Networks. They'd just buried the power supply to our neighbours' homes beneath our track.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4037 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
