| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

| Walsh Family AlbumPhotographs of our family -- when we were young, or were working, or were travelling, having fun, being sad, putting on make-up, cooking, playing with the bull terriers, eating (lots of these), living. |

Some of the Trees Cut Down in Lord's Wood257 viewsAll of the trees are cut down in accordance with our Woodland Grant Scheme, and under the supervision of our forestry consultant. It's surprising how much more light this has brought into the woodland. I understand that this will help the flora on the forest floor to thrive.

Me Sitting Outside The Ticket Office with Diego236 viewsWe never would have found this small porta-cabin --- the main ticket office for the opening ceremony of the Olympics --- were it not for Diego. The ticket folks brought me a chair and put me on some gravel (at least in the sunshine) while they tried to sort out the buraucracy. Although we paid 30 Euros for courier service, and sent four e-mail messages and made four telephone calls, they "forgot" to print our two tickets.

Barbara With the Fire Extinguisher2920 viewsThe Chubb man came to do his annual servicing of our fire extinguishers. Several were out of date, and apparently need to be replaced. So he asked if we wanted to set off the old ones so we'd have "experience" with them. Here's Barbara with a wimpy foam extinguisher. Vic, Andy, Tapa, and Emilia all look on.

Artur and Grzegorz in Costume260 viewsRoss was held just below the Manchester Magistrates' Court, a short distance from the Crown Court. When Artur and Grzegorz were in costume, I photographed them in front of the Crown Court. Quite an unsettling image.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4049 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
