Down With The Old, In With The New298 пъти видянаAfter a year of litigation (commenced against us by Thomas Hawkins) we have fully prevailed. The Court-appointed expert found that the fence by Woodman's Cottage was not along the boundary line, and encroached on our property. This is important, because it has to do with "visual splays" onto the road. On September 15 2006 our contractors arrived to remove the part of the fence that encroached, and to put up our new fence along the boundary line.

Alpacas, Chickens, and Pigs438 пъти видянаA bit of summer sunshine at Lucies Farm. The three male alpacas are always together, and don't seem all that bothered by the presence of pigs and chickens. I love when the pigs lie down for a rest, and the chickens peck at (I suppose) tiny insects in the pigs' ears.

Jack and Margaret's gate is to the right (west). The structure behind the telephone pole is the garage for the Cider Mill. This photo shows how their conifer hedge is overhanging the track.
