| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Style229 viewsMarjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

Our Seats in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden1600 viewsThe 2008 BAFTA Film Awards. Our seats were in the last row of the highest balcony. We could barely see the stage. As I walk, slowly, with a stick I was worried that I was miles from the nearest lift (or even exit) should there be any sort of a problem.

Colletts Green Road - Damages229 viewsI took these photos for the Worcestershire County Council. There are numerous patches in the road in front of our home, and they are just getting worse. I know they have finite resources -- but it would be nice if they would do some more patching if they can't do a complete re-surfacing.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4037 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
