Alpacas, Chickens, and PigsПереглядів: 415A bit of summer sunshine at Lucies Farm. The three male alpacas are always together, and don't seem all that bothered by the presence of pigs and chickens. I love when the pigs lie down for a rest, and the chickens peck at (I suppose) tiny insects in the pigs' ears.

Magnolia With Flying InsectПереглядів: 177I love magnolias. The only problem is that these huge flowers seem to fall apart: in doing so they avoid being cut from the tree and put in a vase. Wonderful big petals, and a great smell that, at least in this case, attracted a small flying insect of some sort.

The Orchid HouseПереглядів: 4346It's a cold autumn day outdoors, but in the Whitecroft orchid house it's always summer. That's our indoor (outdoor?) shower on the right, with a shower head like the Savoy Hotel. The shower head is currently holding our insect-eating plant: Emilia has taken great care of it, and it's becoming the Triffid.
