Wire Management - Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel62 viewsThere were no plug sockets (power points) near the desk in our suite in the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel. To plug in my laptop and cell phone I lifted the top on this little box, to the left of the desk, and found this tangle of wires. I had to use my laptop elsewhere in the room.
Our Lounge at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London55 viewsNo plug sockets (power points) near the desk --- note the wire contraption to the left.
Artwork at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London59 viewsThis artwork (plastic bottles with light bulbs) adorned the shelves in the first floor lobby of the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in The City of London. I particularly liked all of the extension cords and power cables. I couldn't plug my laptop in at my desk in my suite, but there were plenty of plugs in the lobby for the illuminated bottles.
First Floor Lobby - Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London66 viewsWhen we returned to the hotel at about 11:30 PM on Sunday, there were no restaurants that were open. We were told room service was the only choice. We didn't want to have dinner in our room, so they suggested the balcony area shown in this photograph, just beneath the dusty palm trees. Up a long flight of stairs --- very difficult for me to climb.

Gate to the Stable Yard57 viewsThis five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.
