The Fresh Garden Salad, McDonald's Stylešt. ogledov:219Marjorie and I had to pick up some paint -- and I wanted lunch. Marjorie normally doesn't let me go to McDonalds, but I convinced her to give it a try because of their new, healthy food. Their website talks about garden salads made "using a host of wholesome ingredients including at least 6 varieties of salad leaves." This is Marjorie's second garden salad: her first was inedible. We were told this salad was "freshly made." Hmmm.

The helpful staff said this one had been "freshly made." It appears to be made from old ingredients. It certainly doesn't look like the salad pictured on their website, or at the counter.

The Tewkesbury Ferryšt. ogledov:238The other day, when coming home on the M50, I spotted a sign to the ferry. The ferry? Today we went to have a look, and there really is a ferry that runs several times a day from this beautiful spot on the River Avon (actually near the motorway) to Tewkesbury. That's Bredon Hill in the background.
