Dinner at Brown's - Worcester479 viewsNick Nagel, Shauna, Marjorie, Steve Patch, and Jane Nagel at our old stomping ground --- Brown's.

Pigs in a Line326 viewsGood Friday morning, 2004. The pigs are in a nice chorus line, from left to right: the "original" Kune Kune, the Kune - Gloucester Old Spot cross (how did that happen?), the sinister Iron Age pig (now quite an elderly lady), and the Sinister - GOS cross.

Craig 50th - Alan Wong's Restaurant, Honolulu289 viewsMy 50th Birthday at Alan Wong's - Jane Nagel looks thrilled to bits with my cake.

Blaisdell Center - 1999444 viewsDavid Reed selling poi bagels at the Blaisdell Center, 1999. Note that we didn't have the yellow labels yet: these must have been "early bagels."

An assortment of Scottish | Kobe Beef1452 viewsHere's an assortment of the various cuts of Scottish | Kobe beef that we have available at Lucies Farm. With apologies for the "plug," all of these can be ordered on our website.

Scottish | Kobe Fillet Steaks454 viewsTwo prime, aged Scottish | Kobe fillet steaks. Unfortunately, each steer only provides 17 to 18 fillet steaks, and we package them in a pair. So we only receive eight or nine packages from each steer. As a result, there is always a back-order situation for fillet steak. You can join the queue at the Lucies Farm e-commerce site.

Lord Rannoch of Lucies Massaged728 viewsThis photograph of Lord Rannoch of Lucies (taken in February 2005) is part of a promotional piece for Kobe beef. In fact, Rannoch is one of our two "stock" bulls --- we're not about to eat him. Rannoch's semen is for sale on his own website.

Aberdeen Angus Steers Arriving - Mar 3 20053153 viewsWith the increased demand for Scottish | Kobe beef, we have purchased six new purebred Aberdeen Angus steers to add to our own existing herd. The steers were raised by David Coward in Mere, Wiltshire -- here's a photograph of their arrival. Their first taste of beer, and their first massage, awaits.

American Wagyu Cattle Sausages359 viewsWe just received some delicious looking sausages, made in London from American Wagyu beef. Naturally, before eating them we had to photograph them.
Woodsman-east.jpg
Woodman's Cottage263 viewsThis is the cottage at the entrance to Lord's Wood. According to our title deeds, recorded at Land Registry, the property line runs along the right-hand side (eastern) of Woodman's Cottage. The red line in this photograph approximates the boundary, so it would appear --- subject to further work by our surveyor --- that the trees, etc. to the right of the line are part of our property.
woodsmen-front.jpg
Front of Woodman's Cottage241 viewsAs best we can tell, the front boundary of Woodman's Cottage is circa 8.9 meters from the front (south) of the Woodman's Cottage garage. This photograph was taken from the west, facing towards the east. Marjorie is standing behind the hedge at the point 8.9 meters south of the front of the cottage. Assuming we're correct (and our surveyor is checking this now) the area to the right (south) of the red line is our property.

Kevin Massaging Highland Steer417 viewsThe steers stand still for their massage. Perhaps it's the anticipation of the beer that will follow shortly?
