Brooke and Poi T-Shirt709 mol gekuckt ginnWe were contacted by E! television. They were filming a "Wild on Waikiki" program, and wanted a taro lo`i in town. We explained that most lo`i were on the neighbor islands, but that we had a small one (about 10 sq. ft.) in our parking lot. The taro plants in our mini-lo`i were purchased at Home Depot. But our mini lo`i was graced by Brooke, and appeared in the E! program.

Westbrook Settles In3163 mol gekuckt ginnWe picked up Westbrook Peter Lad 1st on May 18, 2005. It was his birthday --- he's 11 weeks old. We had an uneventful ride down from his original home in Little Hereford, and he's settled in nicely. We have him in a large stable until he grows a bit larger and can be put out with the bigger pigs.

Tenbury Wells Pump Room569 mol gekuckt ginnWe were surprised at how small this building really is. Inside (to our disappointment) it had Malvern Hills District Council offices: some bureaucrats getting ready for a planning meeting. We'd hoped for little waitresses serving sandwiches where the crust had been cut off.

Tenbury Wells Pump Room494 mol gekuckt ginnFor my taste, the front of the building had been ruined by the addition of a wheelchair ramp. (Of course, if I were in a wheelchair I would feel differently.)

Tenbury Wells Pump Room Tower243 mol gekuckt ginnThe tower has been restored: the roof looks a bit like sheet metal, almost like it came in kit form and was assembled. We were also surprised at how short the tower was.

Aberdeen Angus Bull & Gloucester Cow480 mol gekuckt ginnOur Aberdeen Angus bull, Rull Balletcruz B012, enjoys a summer meal with Betty, our Gloucester cow. The story of Gloucester cows is quite interesting: in 1972 there were only 68 Gloucester cattle in the world. Please visit the Gloucester Cattle Society website. Note the roof thatcher in the background.
