Chase and my Teddy Bear504 zobrazeníI think this is a great picture of Chase, and it's the last known photo of my teddy. The teddy was purchased at the gift shop in Kapiolani Maternity Hospital the day I was born. It had a red felt tounge and wooden eyes. It went with me to university (my mother hid it in my suitcase). When Marjorie and I moved to the U.K. in 1986, Chase asked if she could keep it. And then my ex-wife, the Rev. Marcia, made Chase give it away. Lost teddies. Stinky ex-wives.

The Arrival -- Honolulu6187 zobrazeníMy parents met at Leyland Powers, a school of theater and broadcast in Boston (long gone, I'd guess -- Google comes up with nothing). They drove across country and then took a plane (shown) to meet my maternal grandparents in Hawaii. On the way, they got married in Nevada. This photo shows Birdie (my aunt), my father, mother, and grandmoter at Honolulu Airport, summer 1948. I can imagine it was an interesting arrival.
