Sewage Outfall from Woodman's Cottage256 mol gekuckt ginnA second photograph, taken on September 19, 2005, of the ditch on our property, adjacent to our track down to Lord's Wood. This sewage outfall is coming from Woodman's Cottage, owned by Thomas Hawkins.

Lord's Wood Cottage Soak-Away390 mol gekuckt ginnThomas Hawkins installed this underground soak-away in a corner of Lord's Wood for the waste from Lord's Wood Cottage. I understand that they've buried porous stones in a chamber that they've excavated, and then have covered it with a black membrande to keep the soil from entering the chamber. We have our fingers crossed that this will stop the pollution into Lord's Wood.

Track by Lord's Wood Cottage219 mol gekuckt ginnThis photograph shows how the tyre tracks bend to the east because the post-and-rail fence has been installed too far to the east. This is looking southward down the track, towards the road. Lord's Wood is at my back.

Looking Northward to Lord's Wood215 mol gekuckt ginnThe brick chicken coop (with metal leaning on its eastern wall) is shown. This should be the property line. A clump of bushes is shown just past the building, also part of the old fence line. The new post and rail wooden fence has been installed too far to the east (right in this photograph).
