Ready to Dive?118 viewsThe diving board on our outdoor swimming pool, on the morning of September 19 2006. A nice, bright, warm early autumn day. The water, although heated, is quite cold --- but it looks inviting.

The Electric Meter Reader116 viewsThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?

Whitecroft Track, Afternoon of September 24 2006187 viewsWe put a couple of bales of haylage on our track (we had to move them from the stable yard, as we were removing a piece of farm equipment). They haylage does not block our track. I noticed today that our neighbours have a visitor, and the visitor has parked in our track, parallel to our bales of haylage.

Rainbow Over Whitecroft118 viewsSunday afternoon, October 1 2006. It rained quite a bit, and then the sunshine came out -- and, with the sun, the rainbows. Must dash to look for the pot-o-gold in our loft. . .
