The Tamworth Pigs Showing Offvu 555 foisWe moved the wild pigs into the next paddock -- to help us churn it up before planting grass in the spring. The Tamworth males ran up and down the fence, with the wild boar on the other side. The chickens and alpacas weren't impressed by this show of piggy macho.

The Electric Meter Readervu 129 foisThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?

Where The Gates Closevu 236 foisThe gate on the right in this photograph (northern gate) has particularly deformed. Within days it was impossible for us to close the gates. Albion refused to repair this. Our handyman used an electric sander to sand the interior edges of both gates. The northern gate drags on the ground.
