The Canal Path702 viewsA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

We started in Aquaba, with an overnight visit to Petra, and then took Concorde to Amman. While there, we went to the Dead Sea, and also road on an old Turkish steam railroad and had a picnic in the desert.
