The Kune Kune - Gloucester Old Spot CrossПереглядів: 328The particularly ugly pig is my daughter's. The pig is a cross between a Kune Kune pig (from New Zealand --- translates to "fat and round") and a Gloucester Old Spot pig. We never quite understood how the cross took place, but it did --- and produced this rather strange pig with wattles. They're called piri piri or dew laps that hang from the lower jaw, and their purpose is not known.

Aberdeen Angus Steers Arriving - Mar 3 2005Переглядів: 3204With the increased demand for Scottish | Kobe beef, we have purchased six new purebred Aberdeen Angus steers to add to our own existing herd. The steers were raised by David Coward in Mere, Wiltshire -- here's a photograph of their arrival. Their first taste of beer, and their first massage, awaits.

Sunapee Harbor - New HampshireПереглядів: 4068We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
