"I Didn't Know Pigs Could Swim."vu 4780 foisI was given a book called The Ubiquitous Pig by my father in 1993. In this book is an underwater photograph of a pig and a lady swimming by Garry Winogrand taken at Aquarena Springs in San Marcos, Texas. Here's our own version, with Barbara and a Tamworth.

A Pig? Or A Hippo?vu 278 foisThis sow is about 10 or 11 years old. She's a cross between an Iron Age pig (itself a cross between a Tamworth and a wild boar) and a Gloucester Old Spot. While she looks incredibly fat, she's the fastest pig we have --- bar none. There is no chance, zero, of catching her.
