| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Reminds me of the old joke about light bulbs...746 viewsWe've purchaed a caravan trailer to provide temporary housing for our two new colleagues from Poland. It was quite a drama getting it down the Whitecroft driveway. The gentleman from the caravan company came out a couple of days ago to look at the driveway and he said it was "fine." There were some tense moments, particularly with our neighbour. Here are the guys trying to find the electrical socket.

Overhanging Hedge143 viewsLooking to the north-west. This photograph was taken on our track (the gravel area). Our boundary is the post and rail fence which is barely visible in the midst of our neighbours' hedge. This hedge is the eastern boundary of the small garden behind The Cider Mill (21 Colletts Green Road). The hedge and trees are apparently overhanging our property. Just beyond the hedge (but not visible in this photograph) is the entry to Jack and Margaret's house.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4050 viewsWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.May 28, 2012
