Lord's Wood Cottage and the Track216 زيارةWe put some hard core on our very waterlogged track, running on the eastern side o Lord's Wood Cottage. Note how the lean-to garage has been reduced as a result of the move of the boundary to its correct location. Lord's Wood Cottage, owned by Thomas Hawkins, seems to be abandoned. This view is looking south down the track from the entrance to Lord's Wood.

The Electric Meter Reader145 زيارةThe electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?
